Q1: I want you to delete my data. What should I do?
- Tap on the gears icon in the lower-left corner of the main flock screen to open the settings.
- Tap on the Terms and Privacy button in the bottom right corner.
- You will be redirected to our Terms of Service and Privacy Notice, where you can either request a summary of personal data or request personal data to be erased.
Please note that if you want to erase all your data, this includes all your progress and purchases, and you won't be able to play the game with the account you request. All your game progress and purchases will be lost, which cannot be undone once the process ends.
Q2: I’ve been banned, but I want you to delete my data. Is it possible?
Since your Angry Birds 2 account was terminated due to breaches of our Terms of Service, we cannot grant your request, as the data needs to be kept for contractual necessity.
Q3: How can I request a data summary?
You can request a summary of all your data stored by Angry Birds 2 or for it to be deleted from inside the game settings. To do this:
- Tap on the gears icon in the lower-left corner of the main flock screen to open the settings.
- Tap on the Terms and Privacy button in the bottom right corner.
- You will be redirected to our Terms of Service and Privacy Notice, where you can either request a summary of personal data or request personal data to be erased.
Q4: Why does the game request access to my data storage when installing it?
Depending on your device's operative system, Angry Birds 2 may prompt you to grant the game access to your photos, media, and storage. It's only the 'storage' part that we're interested in.
The reason the game needs access to your device's storage is because of application size restrictions before downloading the game. This means you may have to download more files for the game to run properly, and this requires Angry Birds 2 to have access to your device storage.
This means Angry Birds 2 needs access to your device storage to load that second file which will allow the game to run. If you don't grant the game access, it will not be able to load.
Q5: What happens if I deny permission to access the storage?
If you deny access to your device storage, the game won't be able to load the files it requires to run. In this case, you won't be able to play.
If you have denied this permission and clicked "Don't ask me again," you will need to manually allow the permission from your device's settings to be able to play.
Please note that Angry Birds 2 will never access the personal files on your device. The game will only have access to the game files.
